loads of flavor

I just got my shipment of the black currant concentrate. It's incredible. Just a teaspoon of the concentrate in a big glass of water and the currant flavor is intense. I do not think it's too tart - it tastes just like black currant should.
At almost $1 per ounce (for the 32 oz bottle) it's not cheap, but with this condensation it will be quite economical. More importantly, it's unique.

I bought this product even before it went on the market. I wanted something not too sweet, something I could control myself, so I asked if I could buy just the concentrate alone. I bought two half gallon bottles, which I kept in the freezer and used a little at a time, as and when needed.
It is very tart, and you can make your own syrup out of it, to dilute to taste, or you can add the concentrate to fruit juices to change its flavour.
We grew up in England, where blackcurrants were to be found in abundance, and every chain shop had their own brand of blackcurrant cordials, concentrates and juices, as well as the national brands.
I was delighted to find this product here some years ago, and more so now that they are back in production.
