This is beyond the best. Creme de Cassis without the alcohol, Ribena without the slam of too much sugar, dark and delicious and exquisite , borderline magic .
Beautiful and Delicious

The bottle and seal make a nice presentation. Our first use was a splash in glasses of Moscato wine at our Christmas party. We were all delighted as it was delicious. The taste is wonderful on its own too. I can't wait to try it on other things. I know this will become a staple. I also gave a bottle to a friend and she was impressed and pleased and couldn't wait to try it either.
Great Addition to Beverages

Tried the Black Currant Syrup in a sparkling Gin and Tonic. What a difference! Pour a little (1-2 teaspoons) over ice in a large glass, then proceed with the mixing for a fresh new taste and beautiful color. Makes great non-alchoholic drinks, too.

My German friends introduced me to black currant syrup back in the 70's. Finding it produced here in New England is great, as my source for the product went out of business. It's pricey, but worth it.
Makes a nice gift

I actually bought this as a gift for someone, as I had already been using the concentrate. I also purchased one for myself. It's a quick add to almost anything. I am looking forward to swirling it into a homemade cheesecake.
